Digital Guideline on Sustainable Agricultural Practices in Georgia
CENN, within the I-CISK project, developed a digital guideline on sustainable agricultural practices. The document thoroughly discusses the impact of drought on agriculture in Georgia, taking into account climate change projection scenarios.
The guideline outlines specific methods and techniques for enhancing drought resilience, including:
Management of soil organic matter and improving water retention capacity (including through composting).
Minimum soil tillage and mulching.
Crop rotation and increasing the diversity of crops.
The use of cover crops and agroforestry.
Sustainable pasture management.
The document is in Georgian. You can download it here: https://www.cenn.org/…/sustainable-agricultural…/
